Mark Woolley and
Meghan Chlebowski and Mark Woolley were united in marriage on May 28, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Redemptorist Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Monsignor Gregory Mikesch, the bride's family friend, officiated the 11 a.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Linda Chlebowski of Chesterfield, Missouri. She is the granddaughter of the late Richard and Irene Maciolek. Meghan graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008 with a B.A. in Chemistry and in 2011 with a M.D. She is employed as a Pediatric Cardiology Fellow at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
The groom is the son of Steven and Janice Woolley of Beaver Lake, Nebraska. He is the grandson of the late Norman and Marguerite Woolley and the late Andrew and Bernice Matya. Mark graduated from Rockhurst University in 2009 with a B.S. in Chemistry and from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 2013. He is employed as a Pediatric ER Associate Physician at Children's Mercy Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.
Meghan's maid-of-honor was her friend, Kristin Dolan. Her other bridesmaids were Monica Duke, friend of the bride; Tricia Chlebowski and Kodie Woolley, sisters-in-law of the bride; Meghan Witt and Kaiti Ingram, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Lucy Chlebowski, niece of the bride.
Mark's best man was his brother, Michael Woolley. His other groomsmen were Jason Wesely, Mike Schildz, Doyle Witt, Kelly Laurenti and Karl Szafranski, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Sam Woolley, nephew of the groom.
The couple met at an educational lecture during their medical residencies at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Mark proposed at sunset overlooking the vineyards in Hermann, Missouri, after chasing their dog, Koda, to retrieve the ring he had tied to her collar.
The couple honeymooned in Bermuda.
