Francis Lee Gutgsell

100 YEARS

Francis Lee Gutgsell was born December 3, 1918 to John and Carrie Gutgsell in Michigan City, Indiana. He was the youngest of three children. Lee is a World War II veteran, a Sherman tank driver in the Fourth Armored Division. He worked for Washington National Insurance Co. for 36 years and was the District Manager in the Omaha office. Lee and his wife Josephine (deceased) raised 10 children together. After being widowed for 14 yrs, Lee met Barbara Jasa in 1997. They recently celebrated 20 years of marriage. He has 33 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren and counting. His children planned a special luncheon to celebrate this milestone. The family is requesting a card shower in his honor.
