Raised in Nebraska, National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore is the founder of the Photo Ark, a groundbreaking effort to document species before they disappear—and to get people to care while there’s still time. To date, Joel has photographed almost 10,000 species for the Photo Ark. A selection of those photographs are on display at Gallery 1516. This exhibition runs through Februrary 2, 2020. Gallery 1516 is free and open to the public.
