Laser Fest, a series of laser light shows, returns to the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) Mallory Kountze Planetarium on August 22 and will continue through August 28.

High-energy laser light shows will accompany the music of the AC/DC, Journey, and more during evening shows ($8/ticket). There will also be family-friendly laser shows ($8/ticket) during daytime hours.

“My five-year-old daughter saw Laser Mania,” said Krista Testin, organizer of the event. “I had a hard time keeping her in a seat because she wanted to dance and sing along.”

The shows are open to the public and range from 40 to 60 minutes in length. Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted. Audience members are invited to park anywhere on UNO’s campus.
