About Jessica Errett:
Jessica Errett is a songwriter from Omaha, NE, and the front-woman for indie rock band, Edge of Arbor. A multi-instrumentalist and a two-time nominee for the Omaha Entertainment Awards, she is currently performing with four Nebraska-based bands (All Young Girls Are Machine Guns, Tara Vaughan Band, Surfer Rosa, and Edge of Arbor) who have shared the stage with various national acts including Modest Mouse, Peter Bjorn and John, and Erika Wennerstrom. Influenced by growing up in small-town Iowa, her songwriting clings to classic folk melodies but doesn’t shy away from incorporating crunchy electric guitars and nutty percussion sounds (provided by her pal, Matthew Shrader). Embracing her extreme nerdiness for math, Jessica works as a mechanical engineer when she's not performing music.
"Jessica Errett is someone I have been watching for many years...and years ago I knew she had 'it'. I love sitting with people that have not seen her and seeing them discover her. She is one of the most talented and professional artists I have ever dealt with....and it was a pleasure to see her perform tonight as always....every time I see her play I find myself wanting to tell people about her more. She is not unknown in Omaha...but should be more known." -MarQ Manner, Omaha Dispatch
"Her voice sounds like a cross between Jesus and Fergie" -Scott Zrust, (friend, drummer, chef)
