Start the season by supporting locally owned shops and restaurants in Omaha’s most historic district. Our brick paved streets will be decorated for the season and filled with carolers. The shops will feature special holiday finds for your Christmas list and activities for everyone. Spend the day exploring our eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries. You may even find Santa stopping by for a visit before his busy season.                                            

Wonderful Holiday Lights

Stroll the historic streets in the glow of thousands of twinkling lights as you celebrate the season in Omaha’s most impressive holiday display. Our historic buildings are lit up from top to bottom with lights, greenery, and bows. Discover a special wonderful holiday display lighting up the famous 11th & Howard intersection from all 4 corners.                    

Holiday Season Festivities

The Old Market welcomes everyone to our grand yuletide of bright lights and unmatched revelry. Celebrate the season with our sights, sounds and sweet smells. Meander down the brick streets and sidewalks enjoying the beautiful store window displays as you shop the unique stores for gifts to complete your Christmas list. Take a break for a hot toddy, craft beer or cocktail. Stop by the sweet shops for some tasty holiday fudge. Enjoy the merriment with holiday carolers and street performers while you spend an evening with a special someone with a special holiday dinner at one of our fine restaurants.
