ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — UNO’s Sami Spenner blew away her coaches at the U.S. indoor track and field championships.
Spenner, who competed in six events last weekend at the Summit League championships, came back Friday to finish in fourth place in the pentathlon with a school-record 4,271 points. She had won that event, along with the triple jump and long jump at the start of the week to win Summit field MVP.
