Spenner helps Mavs to third-place Summit finish

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Sami Spenner won the 60-meter hurdles and triple jump Saturday to help the UNO track and field team to a third-place finish at the Summit League indoor championships.

Spenner accounted for 50 of the Mavs' 109 team points, winning the 60 hurdles in 8.77 seconds and the triple jump with mark of 41 feet, 5 inches. Spenner also finished second in the 60 (7.51) and third in the 200 (24.58) and high jump (5-7¾).
