Reed Peters, 1, Goalie 6-3, 180, Morden, Manitoba: After playing 15 games of the 2011-12 season with Fargo of the USHL, he played last year with Winkler of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, going 17-19-0 with a 3.13 GAA and .916 save percentage. Posted .212 GAA and .939 save percentage in playoffs.

Brian Cooper, 2, Defenseman, 5-11, 187, Anchorage, Alaska: After being drafted in the fifth round by Anaheim in 2012, Cooper logged consistent minutes as one of the Mavs’ top six defensemen. Physical for his size, he’s a defense-first blue liner who recorded two assists in 32 games. Two-time second-team All-USHL with Fargo.
