With the kind of late-game heroics UNO performed Tuesday night, the Mavericks might like to schedule more than three games a year in Werner Park.

Clayton Taylor’s team-leading fifth homer of the season in the bottom of the ninth tied it, and Alex Schultz stunned Kansas State in the 10th when his two-out hit found the gap in left-center to score Cole Gruber and give UNO a 6-5 victory before 512 fans.
