VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota used a 13-0 run to take an early lead, cruised to a 42-16 halftime advantage, and earned its first Summit League victory of the season Saturday by beating UNO 75-51 in women's basketball.
South Dakota, still playing without two injured starters — including preseason All-Summit guard Nicole Seekamp — had lost its first four league games. The Coyotes (11-10) were picked to finish third in the preseason.
