UNL's Perlman 'disappointed' by ruling allowing Northwestern football players to create union

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman joined the NCAA in saying he was “disappointed” by a federal agency's decision Wednesday that Northwestern football players could unionize.
But the ruling wouldn't apply to athletes at UNL or other public universities. And Perlman said the matter is far from settled even at Northwestern.
