Storm Chasers lose fifth straight game

DES MOINES — Lars Anderson had three hits and drove in two runs to lead Iowa to a 6-3 win Monday night over Omaha at Principal Park.

The Storm Chasers lost their fifth straight game, all on the road, to fall to 10-14 overall and to 1-7 away from home. Iowa won its sixth straight to extend its lead over Omaha to 4 1/2 games in the PCL’s American Conference Northern. Dating to late in the 2012 season, Omaha is 1-11 in its last 12 games in Des Moines.
