RENO, Nev. — Adam Eaton drew a bases-loaded walk to force in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning and Chris Owings followed with his third RBI of the game with a single up the middle as Reno edged Omaha 7-5 Wednesday night in the opening game of a series between last year's PCL championship series participants.

Defending champion Reno started the rally against reliever Dan Wheeler (1-3) with a single by veteran Juan Rivera and a double by Alfredo Marte. After Taylor Harbin popped out, Wheeler intentionally walked Ed Easley to load the bases.
