Marlin Briscoe says he has a place in history because Omaha helped shape him. So he tries to return at least once a year.
Perhaps that’s why he looked so comfortable with a microphone in hand at The Union Pizzeria and Sports Bar downtown on Wednesday, sharing stories and taking photos. Briscoe even got out of his seat to toss a football back and forth with a young boy in a crowd of a little more than 50 people.
