Omaha picked to host volleyball World Grand Prix final
Omaha already is set to host the NCAA volleyball final four in December 2015. Past final fours have been played at the CenturyLink Center in 2006 and 2008, and the facility can seat 17,000 for volleyball. Here, Nebraska takes on Oregon in an NCAA Regional match in December 2012.

Harold Cliff said the Omaha Sports Commission did a thorough combing of the international volleyball landscape before finally chasing and landing the FIVB World Grand Prix final round, which Omaha will host in 2015.
The CenturyLink Center will be the home to the six-team, five-day women’s event that will take place 12 months before the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
