Omaha grade school cancels classes to watch NCAA hoops

The frenzy over NU's and Creighton's back-to-back March Madness games Friday is reaching into virtually all corners of local life.
At least one Omaha grade school canceled classes for the day. Some of Omaha's largest employers are planning parties for employees to watch the games on their, ahem, breaks. One, First National Bank, will throw an NCAA tournament party today, because managers anticipate that many workers won't be at the office for the fun on Friday.
