After going three weeks without a carry, Jordan Canzeri took the ball five times and ran for 58 yards last week against Wisconsin. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz must have liked what he saw against the Badgers.
Canzeri, a 5-foot-9, 192-pound sophomore from Troy, N.Y., ran for a career-high 165 yards on 20 carries Saturday in a 38-14 thrashing of Purdue.
