LSU, North Carolina haven’t made back-to-back losses a habit

Models of consistency all season, Louisiana State and North Carolina face off Tuesday in a College World Series battle of survival.
The teams have won 114 games between them. The Tar Heels have not lost back-to-back games all season, while LSU’s only consecutive defeats came in late April in a Southeastern Conference series against South Carolina.
