Scouting Omaha: Simply stated, the 32-25-1 Lancers have to win as many games as possible while hoping one of the two teams ahead of them stumbles to the finish line if they hope to take their streak of consecutive playoff appearances to 24 years. … Matias Cleland has moved into second among USHL defensemen in scoring with 37 points on nine goals and 28 assists. … Goalie Alex Lyon is third in the league in both wins (25) and save percentage (.917), and fourth in goals against per game at 2.59. … Omaha is 14-13-1 in road games this season, and four of its final six are away from Ralston Arena. The Lancers haven’t won a road game since Feb. 8 and are 0-3-1 in their past four away games. … Omaha is 24-8-1 when scoring a power play goal and 25-13 when it doesn’t allow a man-down goal.
