Junior outside hitter Kendall Kritenbrink was named Summit League volleyball player of the year during the league’s annual volleyball banquet on Thursday night.
Kritenbrink is the first Coyote to earn the honor. She led the league with 521 kills, which is ninth most in league history. She also led the league and ranks fifth in the nation in points per set (5.41), and was second in the league and ranks ninth in the nation in kills per set (4.65). Kritenbrink is from Gretna and attended Omaha Gross.
