UNO had just taken a 1-0 lead and Nebraska's players, sensing some confidence building across the diamond, knew they needed to come up with a quick response.
Positive energy can sometimes make the difference for an underdog on low-scoring nights like Wednesday, when the clouds were occasionally spitting rain, worsening the already chilly and windy conditions. UNO, which had lost 17-6 at NU, wasn't going to get trounced again.
