Kansas City promoted four Omaha players to the major leagues on Tuesday, one day before the start of the Pacific Coast League playoffs.
It could potentially be a big hit to the Storm Chasers’ offense as Omaha will move on without veteran first baseman Carlos Pena, second baseman Johnny Giavotella and infielder Pedro Ciriaco. Reliever Donnie Joseph also moved up to Kansas City.
