LAWRENCE, Kan. — The College of St. Mary placed three runners in the top five Saturday to capture the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference women's cross country championship.
CSM edged runner-up Haskell Indian Nations 35-49 to win its first title since 2004. The win gives the Flames a berth in the NAIA national championships.
