BENSENVILLE, Ill. — Omaha Lancers goalie Cole Bruns had 43 saves and earned his first career United States Hockey League shutout in a 2-0 victory over the Chicago Steel.

The game, played before a crowd of 1,718 at Chicago Edge Arena, was scoreless through the first two periods. Omaha ended the scoring drought when Robbie Baillargeon got a pass to the top of the Steel goal crease and Connor Chatham punched the puck into the Chicago net 61 seconds into the third period.
