Bearcats face triple threat in title game
D.J. Gnader, No. 36, and Northwest Missouri State reached the Division II national championship game for the first time since 2009 with a 27-13 win over Grand Valley State on Saturday. “We’ve been working toward this goal all season long,” the Council Bluffs Lewis Central grad said. “Now we’re one step away.”

D.J. Gnader just stood on the field Saturday and let the craziness unfold.
He watched as some of the 4,096 fans flooded the stadium following Northwest Missouri State’s 27-13 victory over Grand Valley State and then tore down the goal posts, a tradition every time the Bearcats reach the national championship.
