    Forward Adams commits to Mavericks
    Forward Adams commits to Mavericks

    Forward Charlie Adams has committed to a scholarship offer from UNO, according to his team, the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League. “Charlie has worked hard the past two years for the chance to play NCAA Division I hockey,” Bruins coach Chris Tok said in a press release.

    Andrej Sustr took a look. And what he saw in himself was a developing defenseman who could use more time playing college hockey instead of turning professional. “I looked in the mirror and looked at myself as a player,” he said, “and I just felt that I wasn't ready to turn pro yet.”
