The latest announced booking at the Ralston Arena is sure to get people talking.

Political pundit and author of a dozen best-selling books Bill O’Reilly will bring his speaking tour to the venue on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Visit RalstonArena.com for ticket information.

Arena General Manager Paul Hendrickson said bringing O’Reilly to the main stage at the arena is another way the facility is serving a wide cross-section of people in the metropolitan area.

“You’ve got a built-in audience for a guy like Bill O’Reilly,” Hendrickson said. “Will he appeal to everyone? No. But he’ll appeal to enough people that we can probably do quite well in filling the building.”

Purveyor of the “no-spin zone” on his Fox News program “The O’Reilly Factor,” O’Reilly often takes his show on the road to talk all things political, cultural and elemental to American life. Among O’Reilly’s books are “The No Spin Zone,” “Culture Warrior” and “A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity: A Memoir.”

O’Reilly’s most recent endeavor has been a series of books aimed at getting deeper into the histories of the assassinations of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
