For the second time in four months, a Ralston bank has been the site of an armed robbery.

Ralston police are looking for the suspect who robbed the Wells Fargo on 84th and L streets on April 8 at 12:18 p.m.

The suspect, described as a black female, claimed to have a bomb but no devices were presented or visible.

“The person displayed a note stating that they had a bomb. They did not display anything and did not display a weapon,” said Deputy Chief Marc Leonardo.

The suspect was described as between 5-foot-1-inch and 5-foot-6-inches and weighing about 150 pounds. She was also described as wearing dark clothes — a black hoodie, black boots with silver ornaments and gray gloves.

Anyone with information can contact the Ralston Police Department at 402-331-1786, the FBI at 402-493-8688 or Crimestoppers at 402-444-STOP. Anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect is eligible for a reward.

The bank was also robbed on Jan. 13. Police have not yet located the suspect from that incident.
