The Frank & Velma Johnson Ralston Archives Museum will be closed the month of April, but the museum is still looking for fishing equipment of all kinds, floral vases and old gift planters to complete the museum’s summer exhibits.

Loans of anything fishing-related, such as fishing poles (bamboo, poles, fly-reel fishing poles and the like), lures, weights, fishing hats, nets, waders, flies and tackle boxes, as well as any kind of old flower vase or gift planter containers, would be appreciated.

Any stories to go alongside these items would also be welcomed.

The deadline for loaning items is the end of April. Displayed items will be featured at the Archives Museum from June 1 through the end of September.

If you would be willing to loan items to the museum, please call Ralston City Hall at 402-331-6677, Mary Lou Smith at 402-331-6746, Lauralee Grabe at 402-331-6032, or Jan Gorman at 402-331-1657.
