Opened in the early 1990s, the Family History Center has gone from stacks upon stacks of hardbound books and ledgers, microfilm and microfiche, to the high-tech world of online genealogy, where family researchers are able to scour millions of records in seconds that, a decade ago, may have taken painstaking hours, days or even months to pore over.

Program adds second bus

For nearly two decades now, the cities of La Vista and Ralston offer a Special Services Unit to transport individuals wherever they need to go.

The La Vista/Ralston Special Services Unit started offering a second bus in mid-May.

How that garden does grow
