Johnny Porter improved to 31-0 on the season after capturing the 160-pound title at Saturday's Roncalli Invite.
The Bellevue East senior produced two technical fall victories on the day, helping East to a fourth place finish. Ralston finished ninth as Omaha North edged South Sioux City for the team crown.
Porter's teammate, Kyntral Watkins, secured the first invite title of his high school career as he went 3-0 for the 220 crown. Gunnar Byous was a runner-up for East at 113 while third-place finishes went to Jake Wild (285) and Brandon Cheek (120). Oscar Baird (106) and Nick Schroeder (170) each finished fourth.
Ralston was led by a pair of top three finishes as Grant Svagera (113) and JC Reid (126) each placed third for the day.
Bellevue East got the better of its rival on the mat with a 45-27 dual victory over Bellevue West Jan. 28.
Chieftain winners were Baird, Byous, Nick Binder, Porter, Austin Gann, Watkins and Wild.
West winners were Ryan Smales, Ethon Koehler, Russ Barber, Jake Garner, Colten McCauley and Nigel Moss.
Bellevue West had six wrestlers bring home medals while placing seventh as a team at Saturday's Norfolk Invite.
Garner and McCauley each reached championship matches at 145 and 152, respectively, to lead the Thunderbird effort. Smales took third at 120 and Jonathan Carle was fourth at 138. Andrew Oxtoby finsihed fifth at 220 while Caleb Eby took sixth at 106.
Platteview failed to win any of its five matches during the Elkhorn South Dual Tournament Saturday.
The Trojans suffered setbacks to York, Millard West, Wakefield, Elkhorn South and Malcolm on the day.
Top performers for the Trojans were Garret Long, Gage Jeffers, Davy Jones, Tanner Prazan and Chris Eads.
