Bellevue East cruised into the postseason with two dominant victories on the court last week.
The Chieftains (16-7) won at Burke 62-50 Friday night before a 74-48 homecourt victory over North Saturday evening.
East is hosting the A-6 District Tournament, which opened Tuesday night. The title game will be Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Chieftains raced to a 20-9 first quarter lead against North and put the game away with a 22-12 spurt in the third.
Petyon Hagen drained five 3-pointers on her way to a 25-point night. Amaun Frazier added 16 for the Chieftains with Haley Ourada, Sara Gengel and Roshawn Hollie scoring eight apiece. Frazier also dished out nine assists.
Second-ranked Bellevue West will take a 22-2 record into the posteason after convincing victories over Central and South last week.
The Thunderbirds topped Central 63-44 Friday night at West before a 73-53 win at South the following evening.
The T-birds are hosting the A-1 District Tournament, which began Tuesday. Thursday's championship game tips off at 7 p.m.
A 17-5 run to open the game set the tone against Central. Kate Liveringhouse had 20 points and 13 rebounds in the win, one of three Thunderbirds to reach double digits. Chloe Akin-Otiko followed with 17 and Madi Braun added 14.
Bellevue West erupted for a 50-point first half the following night against the Packers, establishing a 28-point cushion.
The trio of Liveringhouse, Braun and Akin-Otiko combined for 44 points, 19 from Liveringhouse and 14 from Braun.
Papillion-La Vista built a seven-point halftime cushion and made it stand in a 52-49 victory over Northwest Saturday night at home.
The 10th-ranked Monarchs ended the regular season with a 14-8 mark. They faced Lincoln East in the first round of the A-4 District Tournament Tuesday at Lincoln Northeast. A win would likely pair them against Lincoln Northeast in Thursday's 7 p.m. championship game.
Alli Kalal poured in 23 points against the Huskies with Katie Oswald adding 14 points and 10 rebounds.
