• A panel of representatives from Catholic Charities Family Services, Children’s Square USA, Nebraska Children’s Home Society and Project Harmony will speak about their organizations and options available to those seeking adoption, foster parenting, volunteering and donating items or funds at Sump Memorial Library, 222 N. Jefferson St.

The “Make a Difference” informational session will begin at 7 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 402-597-2040 or visit

• Fathers, grandfathers, uncles or anyone else can bring their child, ages 3 and up, to the Papa Bear & Me Story Time at the Bellevue Public Library, 1003 Lincoln Road.

The event begins 7 p.m. in the children’s area, and there will be stories, songs, crafts and puppets during the 30-minute-long program.

• A 30-minute session for children, infants to 24-months, and their parents/caregivers designed as a one-on-one experience filled with stories, music, rhymes, puppets and other age-appropriate activities is held at 9:15 a.m. at the Bellevue Public Library, 1003 Lincoln Road.

The Baby & Me sessions are held in the library’s large meeting room and are open to the public. No registration is required.
