• Help St. Joseph’s Catholic Church raise money for a new religious education center currently being built.

The church is hosting a spaghetti dinner from 6 to 8:30 p.m. to raise funds. The meal costs $10 for adults and $5 for children and includes spaghetti, drinks and dessert. The church is located at 102 S. Ninth Street.

• How would you like a guitar signed by country music legends like Garth Brooks, Reba, Wynonna, Loreetta Lynn, Alan Jackson, George Strait or Willie Nelson?

What about framed Miranda Lambert sheet music, a framed Spide-Man animation cell signed by Stan Lee or a framed Yogi Berra 16x20 signed by Berra himself?

All these items and more are up on the auction block today from 5 to 8 p.m. during the First United Methodist Church’s youth group game feed and silent auction.

The silent auction ends at 8:05 p.m. sharp. Proceeds help the youth group fund its mission trip to Eagle Butte, S.D., this summer. The church is located at 480 Main St. in Springfield.
