Bellevue Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery Tuesday evening.

Officers were dispatched to Eddy's Conoco at 1720 Galvin Road S. at 9:24 p.m., Sgt. Chad Reed said in a press release. One man entered the store with a knife and demanded cash from the register, the clerk told police.

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and was seen running in a northeast direction from the store. Several Bellevue police units searched the area but the suspect was not found. The Omaha Police helicopter also assisted in the search.

The suspect was described as a white male, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall with brown hair. He was seen wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt with what appeared to be "Missouri" on the front and blue jeans.

If you have any information for law enforcement, call the Bellevue Police Department at 402-293-3100 or make an anonymous tip through Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at 402-592-7867.
