This subject is beautiful to me and is a completely "found" one – three doors, lath, broken plaster and layers of wallpaper within a two story sod house northwest of Alliance. I'd visited the soddy many times until its complete destruction several years ago. NEBRASKAland Magazine used an exterior view of the sod house in one of the special issues published over the years. The owner of the land told me it was his "grandmother's house" and perhaps knowing that adds a cache of beauty that filters into my vision.
This image shows an overall view somewhat spoiled by a hanging board with nails at the upper left that I roughly removed in photoshop. I also moved the tripod mounted camera closer and framed other images of just the three doors and the wall paper. Thankfully, moving closer to those subjects left the hanging board completely out of the image.
