The race to replace three-term Nebraska Public Service Commissioner Anne Boyle is about more than cheaper taxi rides.
The commission regulates a host of services important to Nebraskans — from telephones and broadband Internet to grain elevators and, yes, those who drive for hire. It also could have a role to play on the Keystone XL pipeline.
