Nebraska has become the 20th state to approve online voter registration, but the Cornhusker State’s approach is unique.
Nebraska will be the first to allow people with valid driver’s licenses or state ID cards to log on to a computer or smartphone and register to vote or update their address using the electronic signature already on file for their state IDs.
