Pat Davis has a big and broad goal for her three months on the Omaha school board: advocate for families with special-needs children.
The board appointed Davis on Monday evening to serve the remainder of Freddie Gray's term. Gray, who represented subdistrict 2 in northeast Omaha, resigned in January. She formerly was board president.
