Woman fired from Beatrice center sues to get job back

LINCOLN (AP) — A woman fired for not immediately reporting abuse at the Beatrice State Developmental Center is suing to get her job back.

Raynette Essman of Beatrice lost her job in May even though the abuse report turned out to be false. Center officials cited a zero-tolerance policy for her firing.
