Water service was restored midmorning Friday to customers near Park Avenue and Dodge Street after a water main break around 3:30 a.m. disrupted traffic in the area and cut off water to about 100 customers, MUD says.

Service was shut off after water was reported on Dodge Street early Friday, said Tracey Christensen, a spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Utilities District. The break affected a nearby apartment building and customers along Dodge from 29th Street to 30th Street, Park Avenue from Dodge Street to Farnam Street and Farnam from 29th Street to Park Avenue, Christensen said.
