Results from a survey of Springfield Platteview residents indicate that the school district bit off too much with its failed attempt to pass a $35.7 million bond measure last fall.
Too big a tax increase and too large a project list — those were the main reasons people who opposed the measure gave for rejecting it. The measure failed 58 percent to 42 percent.
