The Center for Rural Affairs in Lyons, Neb., has received a grant of nearly $100,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to expand efforts to connect schools with local farmers and ranchers.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack this week announced 71 grants spread among 42 states and the District of Columbia.
