LINCOLN — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will heat and cool buildings on its Innovation Campus with wastewater from a city treatment plant.
UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman and Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler announced the $12 million Central Renewable Energy System last week. The project will use nondrinkable water from the Theresa Street wastewater treatment plant.
