Traveling in snowstorm 'was so scary, I started crying,' one woman says

Stiff from sitting on the floor of her stopped charter bus Sunday afternoon, Amy Pettit stood up, stretched and looked out the windows at the snowstorm.

What Pettit, a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, saw along Interstate 80 near Walnut, Iowa, was startling: Three semis and numerous cars in ditches.
