Plans for apartments near 72nd, Cass fall through

A proposed set of apartment buildings near Crossroads Mall is drawing heat from neighbors and now an Omaha city councilman.
Pete Festersen said Thursday that he opposes the plan by Campus Crest Communities Inc., a North Carolina-based firm, to erect 10 buildings on an eight-acre site not far from 72nd and Cass Streets.
