This time, Play Streets moves north on 24th
Alexia Griger, 4, of Omaha got to play a little tetherball with family at the event. Playstreets is a community celebration aimed at healthy living. The City of Omaha and nearly 50 community organizations were present at Saturday's Open Streets event. Farnam Street was closed from 10th to 19th for the event.

North Omaha Play Streets will be open noon to 5 p.m. Saturday on North 24th Street between Lake and Blondo Streets.
Play Streets will turn the street into a play space and fill it with activities such as rock climbing, cooking demonstrations, hopscotch, Zumba and more. The event for families is free and open to the public.
