Terrance Hale received a life sentence Wednesday for the first-degree murder of an older man who was beaten and burned in his north Omaha home.
Hale, 31, was convicted last November in the death of Raymond “Bob” Vasholz. He maintains his innocence, claiming he went into the Vasholzes' burning home to save them.
