Stuff to do this weekend
The Holiday Poinsettia Show at Lauritzen Gardens opened yesterday. The floral display featuring a 20-foot-tall poinsettia tree, model trains and other nostalgic decorations will be on display through Jan. 5.

Skating Rink Opens: Spend the weekend skating at UNMC’s public ice skating rink. The rink opens today, noon to 10 p.m., at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, between 42nd and 40th Streets and Dewey and Emile Streets. Admission including skate rental is $7. The rink will be open through Jan. 11. Visit www.unmc.edu/skate for daily hours.
Craft Fair: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Millard South High School, 14905 Q St. There will be more than 150 vendors onsite selling homemade items as well as baked goods and concessions. All proceeds will go to the Millard South athletic department.
